“This is so sad” – Tears flow as Davido loses all his 3 nominations at the 2024 Grammy Awards
Superstar Afrobeats musician Davido Adeleke, better known online as Davido, is currently a topic of discussion due to his three Grammy Award nomination losses in 2024.
Today, February 4, 2024, in Los Angeles, California, at Crypto.com Arena, was the 66th Grammy Award ceremony.
Remember that Davido has been nominated for three Grammy Awards in 2024? These nominees include “Timeless,” his most recent release, for Best Global Album.
He is also honoured in the categories of Best Global Music Performance for his song “Feel” and Best African Performance for his single “Unavailable.”
Sadly, Davido did not receive any of the three Grammy Award nominations in 2024.
South African Tyla’s hit song “Water” won the Best African Performance. Winning ahead of Asake, Burna Boy, Davido and Ayra Starr.
Also Burna Boy lost all his 4 nominations. Best Global Music and Best Global Music Performance last year, this year, bagged four nominations for ‘Sitting On Top of the World’ (Best Melodic Rap), ‘I Told Them’ (Best Global Music Album), ‘Alone’ (Best Global Music Performance) and ‘City Boys’ (Best African Music Performance).
